KYS Celebrates 9th Annual Teen Summit: Built Different, From Placement to Purpose

K.E.L.L.Y. Youth Services recently hosted its 9th Annual Teen Summit, bringing together KYS youth, staff, community partners and presenters for a day of learning, empowerment and personal growth. This year’s theme, “Built Different: From Placement to Purpose,” encouraged youth to recognize their potential, build confidence and think intentionally about their futures. The Summit featured keynote speaker and former KYS Youth “Kick Lee”, along with an incredible lineup of presenters who led engaging sessions and meaningful conversations with our youth.

KYS direct care staff were also present and actively engaged throughout the Summit, supporting youth as they participated in the day’s activities. After a full day of learning and inspiration, the youth headed to OTR FunPlex, where they wrapped up the experience with some well-deserved fun, including creative slime and paint activities. ❤️💛
