Independent Living Program
The Independent Living Program is designed to empower youth by maximizing their abilities and fostering independence while living in their own affordable, permanent housing. We assist in locating and setting up housing while providing the essential skills and daily support needed to prepare them for full emancipation.
Who We Serve
This program supports older adolescents in state custody who have transitioned from higher levels of care, been separated from their families, or lost long-term connections. Some participants may also be young parents needing additional support. By placing them in stable housing, we help them apply independent living skills and receive the guidance necessary to build self-sufficient, healthy, and productive adult lives.
